Robert Krulwich

For 32 years Robert Krulwich worked on television covering science, economics, war and technology  at ABC, CBS and PBS.  With Jad Abumrad he co-hosted one of the first podcasts, Radiolab. His NPR blog "Krulwich Wonders" -- which he illustrated himself -- explored new developments in science. For ten years he regularly appeared as a host on Frontline on PBS, and anchored NOVA Science Now; With Jane Curtin and Buck Henry he led a comedy improv group that performed for President Clinton at the White House; He began as Washington Bureau Chief for Pacifica Radio during the Watergate years and now works with independent journalists on YouTube. He has won 3 Peabody Awards, 2 Emmy awards, a George Polk and the Essay Prize from the Iowa Writers' Workshop and an Alfred I. Dupont-Columbia Award.

Krulwich earned a BA in history from Oberlin College, class of 1969 and a law degree from Columbia University in 1974. He is married to Tamar Lewin, longtime national reporter for the New York Times
