Meghan O’Rourke

Meghan O'Rourke is the author of the New York Times Bestseller The Invisible Kingdom: Reimagining Chronic Illness, which was a finalist for the 2022 National Book Award in Nonfiction, as well as three books of poetry, most recently Sun In Days (2017), which was named a top ten poetry book of the year by The New York Times. Her essays and journalism appear in The Atlantic, the New Yorker, Harper's, and more, and she is the winner of a Front Page Award for Cultural Criticism. A recipient of a Guggenheim Fellowship and a Radcliffe Fellowship, she is professor in the practice of creative writing at Yale University, where she serves as editor of The Yale Review.
