Grace Schulman

Grace Schulman is the recipient of the Frost Medal for Distinguished Lifetime Achievement in American Poetry, and is a member of The American Academy of Arts and Letters. Her latest of nine books of poems is Again, the Dawn: New and Selected Poems, 1976-2022. She is author of a memoir, Strange Paradise: Portrait of a Marriage, and an essay collection, First Loves and Other Adventures. Editor of The Poems of Marianne Moore, she is Distinguished Professor Emerita at Baruch College, C.U.N.Y., formerly Poetry Editor of The Nation and Director, Poetry Center of the Y. Her honors include the Aiken Taylor Award for poetry, a Guggenheim Fellowship, and five Pushcart Prizes. Her newest anthology publication is in A Century of Poetry in The New Yorker, 1925-2025, edited by Kevin Young.
